Three football players, including a pair of running backs, have transferred to Mater Dei.

Running backs Malachi Roby of Centennial and Justin Lewis of Thousand Oaks, along with linebacker Mike Davis Jr. of Aquinas, confirmed their enrollment at Mater Dei.

The Monarchs finished 13-0 last season en route to CIF-SS Division 1, CIF State Open Division and national titles.

Roby (5-11, 205) is a junior who rushed for 575 yards and six touchdowns in the fall.

He notably erupted for 206 yards and two TDs on 25 carries in a 25-20 win against previously undefeated Mission Viejo in the first round of the Division 1 playoffs.

Lewis, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound junior, rushed for 1,306 yards and 15 TDs last season. He gained 163 yards and scored twice in a 21-14 victory against El Modena in the Division 4 quarterfinals.

Lewis also finished the season with 24 receptions for 324 yards.

Davis, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound sophomore, led Aquinas with 47 tackles and three interceptions in 2024. The Falcons lost to Redondo 7-6 in the first round of the Division 4 playoffs.

In other transfer news, Los Alamitos wide receiver Ja’Myron “Tron” Baker and running back Jerod Terry have transferred to Sierra Canyon, the juniors confirmed.

Both players earned first-team All-Alpha League honors last season to help the Griffins reach the Division 2 quarterfinals.

    Baker is committed to USC.
