ROSEMEAD — A person was shot by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy in Rosemead on Sunday.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the L. A. County Sheriff’s Department shut down the area of 8600 Garvey Avenue, at the intersection of Walnut Grove Avenue and south of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, due to law enforcement activity, the department reported.
A suspect was shot in the area and rushed to a local hospital, KTLA5 reported. No deputies or bystanders were injured.
Details about the shooting and the condition of the suspect were not immediately available, and it was unclear what the person was suspected of doing.
