Shania Twain fans are expressing concern after she appeared nearly unrecognizable during a recent holiday performance.
After taking the stage at Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper's annual New Year's Eve special on Tuesday, Dec. 31, the singer's facial attributes left a few fans perplexed, with many assuming the different look was a result of potential "plastic surgery" or other cosmetic enhancement procedures.
"Uh, what the f--k happened to Shania Twain? Jesus people, stay away from the plastic surgery!" one fan reacted on X (formerly Twitter), while another posted a GIF of the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" songstress alongside the inference, "Shania Twain. Botox ruined her though."
The festive broadcast, which aired on CNN, also featured a host of other A-listers, like Patti LaBelle, 50 Cent, Mickey Guyton, Sting, Meghan Trainor, Diplo and more.

The 59-year-old's latest public show wasn't the first time she caused her supporters to raise eyebrows because of her looks.
In early December, several people took to social media with more opinions on why she looks so different, writing things like, "She can do anything she wants I think it’s inappropriate to have so much friggin [sic] plastic surgery. Can’t recognize who you are anymore," in part, and "This does not even look like Shania Twain. She has destroyed herself with this nonsense and all that plastic surgery. She couldn't be anymore desperate."
The bold assumptions continued, and some presumed she went overboard with medical procedures. However, the "You're Still the One" singer has not spoken out to confirm or deny such claims.
