ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, Anthony Hall, is facing charges after Rochester Police say he shoved an officer responding to a domestic call.
Anthony Hall is also the former director of Pathways to Peace and pleaded guilty to grand larceny last year after stealing money from a nonprofit organization he worked for. The officer was taken to the hospital with an upper-body fracture. RPD says the officer may be out of work for several months.
Police say they initially responded to East Main Street for family trouble and a possible break-in just after midnight Thursday. Officers found 38-year-old Hall outside the location and a broken screen window – though it isn’t clear who caused the damage.
Police asked Hall to leave multiple times at the request of someone inside the house. Police say Hall refused to leave and started to argue before eventually agreeing to leave several minutes later.
