The San Francisco 49ers’ Week 18 schedule has officially been set.
After the Washington Commanders beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football, the NFL released its game schedule for the final week of the regular season.
San Francisco and the Arizona Cardinals will kick off at 1:25pm Pacific Time from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
This isn’t a huge surprise given both teams are eliminate from the postseason race. However it still carries some weight with NFL draft positioning and division placement that will help dictate next year’s schedule.
Saturday’s games will feature the AFC North with the Cleveland Browns visiting the Baltimore Ravens at 1:30pm Pacific. Then the Cincinnati Bengals will visit the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5:00pm Pacific.
The Sunday Night Football matchup will be the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. That matchup will decide the NFC North winner and No. 1 seed in the NFC. The winner gets a first-round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. The loser will drop to the No. 5 spot and go on the road to open the postseason. That will be the case regardless of what happens when the 49ers host the Detroit Lions on Monday in the final Monday Night Football game of the season.
