Since Miley Cyrus revealed her plans for a new album last month, fans have been on the lookout for clues about when they can expect to hear new tunes from the "Flowers" songstress.
Now Cyrus is dropping even more hints about an upcoming release, writing in her latest social media post about creating "something beautiful."

On Monday, Dec. 23, the Hannah Montana star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a long black dress that appeared to be made out of leather. In the pic, Cyrus sat in a black chair with her hands behind her head, showing off the multiple tattoos on her arms.
"HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!" she wrote in her caption.
"It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again," the 32-year-old continued.
"This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me. In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew. At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful. Thank you to everyone who has been apart of making this year so special. Sincerely, Miley."

Fans were quick to interpret the post as a promise about the Grammy winner's next project.
"Something beautiful is coming ?," one hopeful commenter wrote.
"OMG, NEW YEAR NEW MILEY!!!!!" raved a second person.
"WE WANT THE ALBUM MC," declared someone else.
Cyrus' most recent single, "Beautiful That Way," was released earlier this month. Recorded for Gia Coppola's film The Last Showgirl, the track recently received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
