KANSAS City Chiefs fans have spotted Patrick Mahomes’ subtle nod to his teammate’s relationship.
Pictures have emerged from a Taylor Swift party that Mahomes attended with his wife Brittany.
Brittany posted pictures from the party alongside Swift, Patrick, and other Chiefs WAGs like Lyndsay Bell.
Kelce was not in any of the pictures, but could be seen in the background of one of them.
Quickly after Brittany posted the pictures, Swifties started to notice something about Mahomes’ outfit.
He wore a tuxedo with a top hat that featured a white scarf and bow tie.
That outfit appeared to be a reference to the outfit that Kelce wore when he appeared on Swift’s Eras Tour this summer.
Kelce made a surprise appearance at Wembley Stadium in London for the song I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.
In that performance, he wore a similar outfit to Mahomes’ while working with the backup dancers.
Fans flooded the comments with the comparison, sharing their laughs about Mahomes’ outfit.
“Wait did Patrick dress up like the Travis cameo or as just another ICDIWABH backup dancer?” one fan said.
“It’s like an eras tour party or something. Patrick is dressed like Travis during the ICDWABH performance,” another fan said.
“Not him dressing as Travis,” a third fan said.
“Patrick dressed as Travis (Taylor’s Version),” a fourth fan wrote.
“Patrick as Travis is sending me,” a fifth fan said.
Brittany also appeared to pay tribute to the Eras Tour with her outfit, wearing a sparkling dress similar to the kinds Swift wore on her tour.
Swift kept things simple by wearing a slim black dress.
'Well-talked-about personal life'
Travis Kelce was asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift during an interview with Good Morning America.
But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a cagey response.
“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” Kelce told GMA.
“I’ve always been a very grounded guy. It might not come off that way when I’m playing football.
“But off the field, I just want to be a genuine person. I try not to get too far down the road.
“Because you never know what opportunities are going to present themselves.”
Fans theorized that this celebration was for Swift’s 35th birthday, and shared those thoughts in the comments.
