Dallas Wilson is reportedly heading to Florida after all.
The 5-star wide receiver verbally pledged to Oregon on Jan. 17, 2023. Over the nearly 2 years from the time of his commitment to his signing, Florida and other schools tried to flip Wilson. On Dec. 4, however, Wilson followed through on his Oregon pledge and signed with the Ducks.
Now, it’s being reported by multiple outlets that Wilson is asking for a release from the papers he signed with Oregon. Wilson is expected to enroll at UF.

On the 247Sports Composite, Wilson is rated 5-stars, the No. 3 player in the state of Florida, No. 4 wide receiver and No. 20 recruit overall.
Wilson was a sought-after prospect, collecting scholarship offers from 34 programs. In addition to Florida and Oregon, other programs to show interest include Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.
Without Wilson, Florida inked the Composite’s No. 11 recruiting class for 2025 with 23 signees. Since the Early Signing Period, the Gators have only added 1 transfer commitment, punter Tommy Doman from Michigan.
