SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A flight from San Jose to Maui was diverted and forced to land at SFO due to a disruptive passenger, according to airline officials. Hawaiian Airlines flight HA45 took off from San Jose Mineta International Airport at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, bound for Kahului, Maui.

The flight was diverted to San Francisco International Airport. The plane landed without incident and the passenger was removed, airline officials said. The flight resumed to Maui Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
