Mohamed Nasser al-Hajri has been appointed as a member of the board of directors and general manager of Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) announced Sunday. This was based on the decision of the board of directors of QEWC, it noted. HE the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi, and chairman of the board of directors of QEWC, welcomed al-Hajri, wishing him success in performing his duties. Al-Hajri holds a master's degree in gas engineering from the University of Salford in the UK, and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Qatar University. He joined Qatar Petroleum in 1991.
