The hits keep coming for a Chicago Bears team that is being met with unsavory news at seemingly every turn this week. Shortly after the team released its Thursday update of the Week 11 injury report, The Athletic’s Kevin Fishbain reported that safety Jaquan Brisker has been put on injured reserve. Brisker has been in concussion protocol since October 7 after self-reporting symptoms on the Monday after the Bears’ Week 5 win against the Carolina Panthers and before the squad left for its Week 6 showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. There was a brief time in which it was believed that Brisker could join the team if he cleared protocol. He didn’t. And has been out of commission
