COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The first College Football Playoff rankings with a 12-team field coming this postseason were revealed on Tuesday night, and Ohio State was among the top teams. The Buckeyes (7-1) were placed at No. 2 in the first playoff rankings, but they don't sit as the three-seed in the projected bracket. With Big Ten rival Oregon ranked No. 1, they're not projected to earn a top-four seed as a conference champion.
