Qatar participated in the Euro-Arab Technology roundtable on border security organised by the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in co-operation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), through video conference technology. The Assistant Director of the Airport Security Department Lieutenant Colonel Saud Abdulaziz al-Musallam represented Qatar in the roundtable, which discussed a number of issues on the agenda related to border security, in addition to exchanging views on strengthening Arab-European co-operation in this regard.
