Traffic diversion at Islamic Museum Intersection on Corniche Street ...Qatar

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a traffic diversion, over 400m, at the Islamic Museum Intersection on Corniche Street from December 4 for 10 months. During the diversion, traffic at the intersection will be diverted to a parallel road consisting of three lanes in both directions, while the traffic signals will be "cancelled", Ashghal has said in a statement. The diversion, which will be carried out in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced to facilitate the implementation of infrastructure development and beautification works on the Corniche as part of the development and beautification project in downtown Doha - Package 2.
