Alabama basketball goes to the Final Four with win over Clemson

The Alabama Crimson Tide basketball team has made history by advancing to the Final Four for the first time in program history with a thrilling win over Clemson. The team, led by head coach Nate Oats, has been on a remarkable journey this season, defying expectations and proving themselves as a force to be reckoned with in college basketball.

The game against Clemson was a hard-fought battle, with both teams giving it their all until the final buzzer sounded. But it was Alabama's determination and skill that ultimately propelled them to victory, securing their spot in the prestigious Final Four.

No. 4 Alabama beat No. 6 Clemson 89-82 Saturday night in Los Angeles to win the West Regional and advance to the Final Four. Nate Oats has led the Crimson Tide to a new level in his fifth year as head coach.

Pringle battled, got tough baskets and hit some late free throws to push the Crimson Tide to the first Final Four in program history, all while Pringle was dealing with a bruised heel. And Stevenson kept hitting big shots. As a result, Alabama defeated Clemson 89-82 on Saturday at Crypto Arena. Pringle scored 13 points in the second half while grabbing seven rebounds.

No. 4 seed Alabama (24-11) comes into the Elite Eight after upsetting No. 1 seed North Carolina 89-87, reaching this stage for the first time since 2004. Through three NCAA Tournament games, the Crimson Tide are averaging 90 points on 47.9% shooting.

Alabama did it. At long last, the Tide is moving on to the Final Four, improving its season record to 25-11 with the victory.

It’s the first time in program history. The Crimson Tide’s opponent was set earlier in the day, when UConn, the defending national champion and overall No. 1 seed, beat the brakes off of Illinois.

It’ll take a monumental upset for Alabama to move to the national championship game. But for the first time since the program began with the 1912-13 season, the Crimson Tide has a chance.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the players and coaching staff, as well as the unwavering support of their fans. The Crimson Tide will now face off against some of the best teams in the country, but they have already proven that they have what it takes to compete at the highest level. Alabama fans everywhere are filled with pride and excitement as they cheer on their team in this historic moment.
