German police have launched an investigation after Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain fans furiously clashed in Munich.
However, there were unsavoury scenes ahead of the Champions League final, which is live on talkSPORT, as fans clashed on public transport.
In a video posted by @ParisByMatch on X, Inter and PSG fans can be seen fighting on the Munich metro system.
Kicks were exchanged between the groups by the carriage doors as club colours separated the two sides.
The account suggests that it was Inter ultras who attacked the PSG supporters, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
A statement was released by police in Munich that confirmed the use of pepper spray amid the ugly scenes.
“Due to an emergency braking at the Universitat subway station, delays occurred on lines U3 and U6.
“Due to the Champions League final and high passenger volume, we are supporting the MVG [Munich transport authority] in taking the necessary measures.
“In connection with this incident, physical altercations occurred at the Universitat subway station, including the use of pepper spray. An investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
“There are also delays on the U6 subway line in the Fröttmaning area. People are on the tracks there.
“These incidents are causing delays to the Allianz Arena.”
German news outlet Bild have reported that stones were thrown at Frottmaning station by Inter fans towards PSG supporters.

Inter have reached the Champions League final for a second time in three seasons.
They are three-time winners in the competition and last lifted the trophy in 2010 when they beat Bayern Munich.
PSG, on the other hand, are yet to win the Champions League and are in their second ever final.
Should they beat Inter, they will become the first French champions since Marseille won the title in 1993.
