Getty Images With just over a week until the NHL trade deadline, the Dallas Stars made a splash by acquiring defenseman Chris Tanev in a three-team deal with the Calgary Flames and New Jersey Devils. The Flames acquired defenseman prospect Artem Grushnikov, the Stars’ 2024 second-round pick and a conditional 2026 third-round pick. To help facilitate the deal, the Devils got involved in the trade, receiving the Stars’ fourth-round pick in the 2026 draft. The Stars also landed goaltender prospect Cole Brady in the deal.
