WARREN – Kashaun Williams will serve life in prison with no chance for parole after he was convicted on capital murder charges in the shooting death of James Chapman and the attempted murder of Martina Moore. The judge had the option of following the jury’s recommended sentence or imposing a lesser sentence, but he could not sentence Williams to death in the matter. To conclude phase one of the capital case, a Trumbull County jury found Williams guilty of capital murder charges in the April 2 crimes against Chapman and Moore, 24.
