Cairo: Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have congratulated US President-elect Joe Biden on his win, expressing interest in cooperating with him. Leaders of five countries in the six-nation bloc have sent their congratulations to Biden. There has been yet no official comment from Saudi Arabia on Biden’s victory. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted that the UAE “looks forward to strengthening our five-decade enduring and strategic relations” with the US.
