The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club will meet Thursday at the Slater Family Ice Arena Lounge, located on the campus of Bowling Green State University. The public is invited. Lunch will be available starting at 11:30 a.m. for a nominal fee of $15. The meeting starts at noon. This week’s guest speakers are Catherine Smith, chief flight instructor, and Melissa Webb, general manager of the BGSU Flight Center. Together, they will engage the audience in a discussion titled “Soaring to New Heights with BGSU Aviation.” Attendees can anticipate a conversation about the evolution of aviation education, the opportunities it presents, and the impact it has on aspiring aviators and our community at large.
