By Ben Shanahan Special to the Sentinel-Tribune Bowling Green State University hockey fell to 2-7 after dropping its Central Collegiate Hockey Conference opener to St. Thomas, 4-1, at the Slater Family Ice Arena on Friday. The Falcons battled, but bad bounces killed momentum that was built early on, explained BGSU coach Ty Eigner. Bowling Green started the game on fire, holding the visiting Tommies to zero shots until Falcon junior Tommy Pasanen was sent to the penalty box and called for knee-to knee interference.
