A Perrysburg man charged with attempted murder has been involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital. At a one-day trial in October, Cody Jordan Wahl, 29, was found not guilty by reason of insanity of the offenses of attempted murder, two counts felonious assault and two counts of domestic violence. A hearing to determine the least restrictive environment available for Wahl’s treatment was held Tuesday in the courtroom of Wood County Common Pleas Judge Matt Reger. Wahl allegedly used a knife to attempt to kill a juvenile on July 15. He caused or attempted to cause serious physical harm to the juvenile and a female. Both were family members. Reger said inpatient treatment was appropriate
