The Bowling Green American Legion Post 45 and the Paul C. Ladd VFW Post 1148 will conduct a Veterans Day service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Wood County Courthouse Veterans Plaza. Retired U.S Army Colonel Stephen Ledbetter will deliver the keynote address. The National Anthem will be performed by vocalist Evvie Van Vorhis. Wreaths will be placed by the veterans’ organizations. A rifle salute will be provided by the 14th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War re-enactors followed by Taps provided by Ryan Holley. A luncheon will follow for all veterans at the VFW Post at 719 S. Main St.
