The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce ACT*BG Project Team has announced that the Christmas Elves Program has started and will continue to Dec. 5. All donations will go to the Thayer Christmas Dreams program, Brown Bag Food Project, and The Cocoon. The group will be collecting unwrapped new toys, books, hats, mittens, and gloves, non-perishable food items such as tuna, mac and cheese, peanut butter, canned vegetables, etc., and gift cards to grocery stores in $10 increments. They suggest purchasing goods for children ages newborn to 14. Monetary donations can also be made payable to the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and dropped off at the chamber offices at 217 S.
