Colonial-era building to be used for teaching Karachi youth
Karachi: A colonial-era building in Karachi dating back to 1865 and serving as one of the icons of the city, will now be utilised to give free coaching to youth of the city who aspire to join Pakistan’s elite civil bureaucracy. This will be an additional use of the Frere Hall building in Karachi, on Abdullah Haroon Road, which is used to host cultural, festivals, recreational, and literary activities frequently. Karachi’s Administrator Iftikhar Ali Shallwani inaugurated a corner in the Frere Hall building, which will be used to give free coaching to the youth preparing for the Central Super Services (CSS) Examinations popularly known as Competitive Exams to join the elite civil bureaucracy
