Quarterback Jalon Daniels threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns in the win, and the Jayhawks defense scored a pair of touchdowns to keep the game out of reach. Running backs Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw have combined for 629 yards and eight touchdowns on 7.0 yards per carry through four games.
Jonathan Brooks had a huge game, rushing for a career-high 217 yards on 20 carries and punching in a pair of touchdowns. CJ Baxter was also effective, carrying the ball 16 times for 68 yards.

Adonai Mitchell was the Longhorns' leading receiver, catching 10 passes for 141 yards and one touchdown. Xavier Worthy caught seven passes from Ewers for 93 yards.
On the first play of Texas' third drive, running back Jonathon Brooks busted through the defense for a 67-yard run. But the Kansas defense held strong in the red zone and forced another Texas field goal, as the Longhorns built a 13-7 lead.
