Trooper stops wrong way, allegedly drunk driver on I-75 ...Middle East

NORTHWOOD – A Toledo man has been cited for OVI after driving the wrong way on Interstate 75. On Aug. 11 at approximately 11:15 p.m., a trooper from the Bowling Green post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol attempted to stop a stolen motorcycle on northbound I-75 near state Ohio 795. The motorcycle initially pulled over but fled and a pursuit ensued. As the pursuit approached the exit for Miami Street, near Toledo, the trooper was passed by a wrong way driver going south in the northbound lanes in the area of a construction zone, according to a patrol report.
