Thomas D. Shinew, 95, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2023. Tom was born on January 6, 1928, to the late William B. and Frankie (Bower) Shinew in the home on the family farm in Rudolph, OH where he lived out the entirety of his life, save for the time served in the Navy. Tom’s parents preceded him in death along with his brother, Russell Shinew and his sisters, Maxine Wagner and Jean Flames. Also preceding him in death was his loving wife of 66 years, Christina, whom he married on August 7, 1954 in a house across the road and their infant son, Steven Shinew. Tom is survived by his children: William (Julie) Shinew, Wilma Shinew, Gary (Ginny) Shinew and Randy Shinew, along with grand
