Tunisian President Appoints New Ambassador to Syria

Tunisia, SANA- Tunisia’s President Kais Saied has appointed a new ambassador to Syria, the Tunisian presidency stated in a statement. President Saied supervised the handing over of credentials to Mohamed Al-Mahdhabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tunisia to the Syrian Arab Republic, in the presence of Tunisian Foreign Minister Nabil Ammar, the statement said on Thursday. Meeting Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Faysal Mikdad last week, President Saied attached great importance to unify the Arab stances to tackle common challenges and adversities.
