SCZONE Chief signs a framework business agreement with Chairman and Managing Director of the Suez Canal Container Terminal ...Egypt

Head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) Walid Gamal Eldin said that the SCZONE seeks to provide many incentives, including reducing port, anchorage and pilotage fees imposed on all container ships as per the total tonnage of the ship and the number of containers. This came following the signing of a framework business agreement with Chairman and Managing Director of the Suez Canal Container Terminal (SCCT) Steven Yoogalingam. The agreement aims at implementing a number of new incentives related to the activity of the SCCT inside East Port Said Harbor, Gamal Eldin said. For his part, Yoogalingam said that the new incentive system supports cooperation between the Suez Canal Economic Zone
