InstaPay transactions total LE112.7 bn in a year: CBE ...Egypt

The Central Bank of Egypt announced that the financial transactions that took place through instant payments network InstaPay during the fiscal year March 2022 – March 2023 totaled to LE 112.7 billion, through 20.3 million transactions carried out by 2.16 million users. In a statement on Sunday, CBE said that about 70 percent of the transactions took place after the official working hours, while the transactions that took place during the official dates amounted to only 30 percent of the total transactions.
