Ghana: le président Nana Akufo-Addo cherche à rassurer son pays en proie à une crise économique

Le président ghanéen Nana Akufo-Addo a voulu rassurer la population sur la crise économique dans un discours dimanche soir 30 octobre. Face à l'inflation record et à l'effondrement de la monnaie nationale, il a promis de « rétablir l'ordre » sur les marchés pour contrer la dépréciation du cedi. Il a affiché sa volonté de soutenir la production locale pour réduire la dépendance aux produits importés. Enfin, le président ghanéen a exhorté la population à soutenir sa décision de solliciter un prêt du FMI, le Fonds monétaire international. Un discours qui n'a pas vraiment convaincu.
