Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Hazm Mebaireek General Hospital (HMGH) has successfully performed 10,000 surgeries in two years in several specialties, including urology, orthopaedics and plastic surgery. The hospital recently celebrated this achievement in the presence of HMC’s acting assistant managing director Ali al-Janahi, chief medical officer and chairman of surgery Dr Abdulla al-Ansari, HMGH CEO Hussein Ishaq, CEO of HMGH ‏and medical director Dr Ahmad al-Mohammed as well as a number of surgeons, physicians and staff members.
