A motorist was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving for allegedly triggering a two-vehicle crash Friday in the Skyline community of San Diego.
The crash involving a Tesla and an SUV occurred a little after midnight at Woodman Street and Skyline Drive, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 38-year-old man driving a 2004 Ford Explorer southbound on Woodman ran a red light and struck a 2025 Tesla Model Y that was westbound on Skyline.
The 28-year-old man driving the Tesla suffered a fractured ulna, a dislocated elbow and abrasions — injuries that were considered minor, police said.
The 38-year-old motorist was arrested on suspicion of felony drunken driving. The man’s name was not disclosed.
