American and Israeli forces have begun a four-day maritime drill in the Red Sea amid rising tensions with Iran The US and Israeli navies have launched a four-day joint exercise, drilling together in the Red Sea amid rising concern over the threats posed by Iran’s maritime forces. The joint drill began on Monday and will run through Thursday, according to a statement by the US 5th Fleet, which is based in Bahrain in the Persian Gulf.
