UPD: Ukiah teen struck with gun during robbery, suspect still at-large ...Middle East

The Ukiah Police Department Thursday was still searching for a man suspected of robbing a teen at gunpoint Wednesday. According to the UPD, officers responded to the area of Mulberry Street and Observatory Avenue shortly before 2 p.m. June 29 when it was reported by multiple 911 callers that a shooting had occurred. When UPD officers arrived, they found a male teenager in the 1100 block of Mulberry Street with a head wound who was “conscious and alert,” and medical responders were summoned. Officers also reported finding a “spent shell casing from a firearm near the victim.” The victim was transported to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for treatment and was later released.
