Nine Perfect Strangers returns to screens for its second outing – this time, travelling beyond the events of Liane Moriarty’s book of the same name, on which season 1 was based.
Nicole Kidman has reprised the role of Masha Dmitrichenko, who has welcomed a new and equally troubled group to another exclusive wellness retreat with a view to helping them unpack their trauma. What could possibly go wrong?
"Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink," reads the official synopsis. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.
Alongside Kidman, the cast boasts a number of recognisable faces, plus some you might not be familiar with.

Who is Masha Dmitrichenko? The former director of Traquillum who is focusing on a new batch of troubled guests at another wellness retreat called Zauberwald.

Murray Bartlett as Brian
Who is Brian? A former children’s TV show host and puppeteer. He is described as “socially awkward yet lovable”.

Annie Murphy as Imogen
Who is Imogen? A privileged woman who is attending the retreat with her mother Victoria in an effort to improve their relationship. Imogen is described as “sharp and guarded”.

Christine Baranski as Victoria
Who is Victoria? Imogen’s “emotionally elusive” mother. She is described as “glamorous and complicated”. Victoria arrives at the retreat with “a very young new beau”.

Dolly de Leon as Agnes
Who is Agnes? She used to be a nun but has since left the church and is “feeling spiritually unmoored”.
Where have I seen Dolly de Leon before? Her credits include Triangle of Sadness, Pintada and Ghostlight.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Wolfie
Who is Wolfie? She brings her girlfriend Tina to the retreat via “manipulative” means after becoming concerned about her, which negatively impacts their relationship.
Where have I seen Maisie Richardson-Sellers before? Most people will know her from The Kissing Booth and Legends of Tomorrow. She’s also appeared in The Originals, The Undeclared War and Wolf Hall.
King Princess as Tina
Who is Tina? A former child prodigy who thinks she’s at the retreat to relax, but has been tricked into going there by her girlfriend Wolfie.
Where have I seen King Princess before? King Princess is a singer. This is her first acting role.
Aras Aydın as Matteo
Who is Matteo? Victoria’s young lover. He’s a “sensitive soul with a traumatic past”.

Who is Frances Welty? Frances is a romance novelist who visits the resort after a bad break-up.

Who is Napoleon Marconi? Napoleon is a high school teacher who is mourning the loss of his son, and who attends the resort with his wife and daughter.
