UPD: Ukiah man arrested for stealing drill from Home Depot

A Ukiah man who allegedly threatened Home Depot employees with a knife while stealing a drill from the business earlier this month has been arrested, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, officers responded to the store on North Orchard Avenue shortly before noon March 15 when it was reported that a man trying to leave the store without paying for a cordless drill had threatened the employees who tried to stop him. The suspect, identified by the UPD as Victor R. Lucas, 25, of Ukiah, had allegedly threatened employees inside the store with a knife, then threatened another employee in the parking lot before driving away with the $149 drill.
