How many European titles have Chelsea won?
The Blues have won eight titles across four major European UEFA club competitions and are England’s second-most successful team.
Chelsea are two-time winners of the Champions League, Europa League, Super Cup and the defunct UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.
The west Londoners’ first triumph in any of these competitions came under Dave Sexton during the 1971 Cup Winners’ Cup.
Chelsea won the same trophy again in 1998, which led to the first of their UEFA Super Cup victories later that year.
Chelsea won the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup, in 2012 when Roberto Di Matteo masterminded a penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich.
The club claimed their maiden UEFA Cup/Europa League title the next season to become the first team to hold both simultaneously.

As such, it leaves Chelsea in second for English clubs in the European trophy list on eight, with Liverpool leading the way on 13.
Manchester United missed the chance to move level with the Blues by losing the Europa League final, but Tottenham’s victory saw Spurs claim fourth outright over Nottingham Forest.
Arsenal, Leeds, and Newcastle have all won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup – widely considered a precursor to the UEFA Cup (now the Europa League) – which existed from 1955 to 1971, although it was not a UEFA-sanctioned competition.
