Arizona State center Leif Fautanu signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft, his college team announced.
Fautanu’s contract details were not immediately available.

Fautanu played in 26 games across two seasons with the Sun Devils. He played the third-most snaps in his college career among active FBS centers (3,329).
The ASU center’s 89.3 pass-blocking grade is the best in the nation for any center and seventh among all players.

Fautanu helped ASU to the 14th-most rushing yards in a season at 2,799. The 6-foot-2, 315-pound center had just four pressures against him, which was the ninth-least among centers.
In 2023, he was named the Sun Devils’ offensive MVP and earned Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention thanks to playing every single snap at center (851). He finished with the fifth-best pass-blocking score for centers in the Pac-12 (78.7).
Fautanu allowed two sacks and three quarterback hits in 2023.
After Cam Skattebo was taken by the New York Giants in the fourth round as the only Sun Devil drafted, Xavier Guillory (Baltimore Ravens) has joined Fautanu as undrafted signees.
