The homeowner revealed that the deck area was “made from mainly free pallets”.

She was able to source these from Facebook, keeping the total cost of the project to just £120.

The DIY pro shared before and after pictures of her garden, including images documenting the building process.

Previously, she stated that her “plan of action is to use polycarbonate sheets on the top” of her deck “once a few beams are installed”.

She revealed that the entire project took only a fortnight to put together.

“Not bad for two weeks work and I have two toddlers,” the handy mum pointed out.

She explained how the only finishing touches were garden decor and a small job to complete the edging.

er added that she was “thinking to put artificial grass on the floor”.

Her desired decor also featured “cute lights and flowers everywhere”.

She shared that she felt “so chuffed” with the almost-finished deck.

Facebook users shared their thoughts on the deck build in the comments section.
