The Hot in Cleveland star took to Instagram on April 4 to share photos from the 1988 TV movie Pancho Barnes, in which she portrayed legendary aviator and stunt pilot Florence "Pancho" Barnes, who had an impressive career, even breaking Amelia Earhart's world women's speed record in 1930.
Bertinelli began the caption by sharing a quote attributed to Barnes, "When faced with a choice, choose happy," saying, "That quote has been my mantra since filming this glorious woman’s biopic."
Bertinelli concluded with the reflective message, "It’s never lost on me how lucky I am to have lived the life I have lived. And I am nowhere near done. ? I am so grateful ?."

Pancho Barnes was a made-for-TV movie that also starred Ted Wass, James Stephens and Cynthia Harris. At the time it was released, Bertinelli was about 28 and she had finished up her star-turning role in One Day at a Time a few years earlier.
