India Cricket Team went undefeated in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy. This came after a comprehensive win over New Zealand. Now, the Men in Blue will take on Australia in the semi-finals. Former India cricketer Deep Dasgupta has claimed India has a very good chance of winning the tournament but has to be wary of Australia.
Varun Chakravarthy was featured for the first time in the tournament, and he went on to bag a fifer. But Dasgupta claims winning the match against Australia won’t be a walk in the park for Rohit Sharma and Co.

“There are good chances. There is no doubt about it. Everyone is in good form. Bowlers and batters are contributing. The real ICC Champions Trophy has just started. If you remove the first two matches, the real ICC Champions Trophy has started with the New Zealand match. There are chances, but it won’t be easy,” Deep Dasgupta told ANI.
Australia in the finals of the ODI World Cup back in 2023. But now, Team India will be keen on lifting the ICC Trophy. Dasgupta also claimed that if India plans on winning the tournament, they need not worry about the opponent, they just will have to be the best on the day.
