On Feb. 23, the Queer Eye star took to his Instagram Stories with an update on his weight-loss journey.
"Gonna be basic and post a before and after on the next slide," he wrote to followers in one segment. "Its [sic] weight related and I know that p----s people off so giving you a chance to skip here."
The former Bravo personality added that his "mental health and overall feeling is a different universe" since a year ago.
"Overall though, I'm so proud of myself and want to share," Van Ness concluded. "Take what works for you & leave the rest."

"I was consistently making decisions that I regretted with compulsive eating and with binging that just left me feeling really not good, depressed and out of control," the celebrity hairstylist added.

"For the first time in my life, I have had control over my food intake," Van Ness explained. "It has just helped me so massively."
