Director Gil Junger Brings ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ Back with a Sequel Trilogy ...Saudi Arabia

The original film, 10 Things I Hate About You, starred Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger.

Junger confirmed the film, stating, “10 Things I Hate About Dating is definitely in the works as a feature film. We're developing it right now.”

While the original film was described as a modern telling of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, the new film, 10 Things I Hate About Dating, will be inspired by Molière's 1666 play The Misanthrope.

The original 10 Things I Hate About You inspired a television spin-off on ABC Family from 2009 to 2010, and a Broadway musical is also in development.
