But one thing meal prepping does not save is space in my freezer. Content Creator Stephanie Gigliotti (@stephgigliotti) shared a genius tip for freezing a casserole that saves you a lot of space so you can freeze even more make-ahead meals and I'm impressed! I will definitely be using this the next time I do meal prep.

The Genius Way to Freeze a Casserole
"Do you freeze a lot of meals? This method saves so much space by stacking your meals and frees up your casserole dishes," Stephanie wrote in the caption of her Instagram and TikTok videos.
Stephanie leaves the wrapped casserole in the baking dish and pops it in the freezer for 30 minutes to help it set. Once it's a little frozen, she takes it out and places it in a freezer bag, which she labels. She said you can wrap the casserole in foil if you have a bigger casserole that won't fit in a Ziploc bag.
When you're ready to eat it, just unwrap the casserole, put it back in the casserole dish and bake it as usual. Stephanie says that you can "even bake with the parchment paper instead of removing it, for easy clean up," and this tip just seems to get better and better.
