The songwriter and former actress, who previously dated music icon Elvis Presley, was photographed at the 2025 BMI Pop Music Awards on Tuesday, May 13, marking what appears to be her first red carpet appearance in years.
Thompson, 74, was dressed in a sophisticated white midi-length gown at Tuesday's event, which was held at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, Calif., She smiled for the cameras while putting on a busty display in the plunging gown, which also featured a pleated skirt.

In the book, Thompson reflected on the downfall of her relationship with the King of Rock and Roll around late 1976, in the height of his prescription drug addiction.
"As much as I loved him," she wrote, "I knew I wanted more—and motherhood was just the start."
Following her relationship with the late "Kentucky Rain" singer, Thompson married Caitlyn Jenner in 1981, and the pair welcomed two sons together, Brandon, 43, and Brody, 41.
