'Mrs. Doubtfire’ Actor Shares Bold Opinion of Weight Loss Drugs After Major Transformation ...Saudi Arabia

Fierstein, 72, revealed in an interview with Page Six that he lost more than 100 pounds as part of his recent weight loss journey. “At the most, I lost 120, and then I put 15 back on, which, I’ve sort of stayed at that,” he said during the interview, which was published on Sunday, Dec. 22.

The Independence Day actor estimated that his weight topped out at around 310 pounds. He attributed the uptick in recent years to the COVID-19 pandemic, an era in which he “existed on the screen of my Zoom.” Fierstein said he has now settled at about 200 pounds.

“What’s different is what the drug actually does for you. Which is, I don’t feel like I’m dieting, and I feel like a normal person,” he told Page Six. "I can go and have dinner with friends and not have to eat every piece of bread on the table—and not then go have ice cream when I’m done with dinner. I know what it is to be full, like a normal person.”
