Vehicle fire closes right lanes on NB 1-680 ...Middle East

(KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a vehicle fire on northbound I-680, north of Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon, has blocked the right lanes. CHP announced the closure at 6:44 p.m. Friday and issued a severe traffic alert. Drivers are advised to expect delays and avoid the area by taking alternate routes.
