Fulham faced off against Liverpool in a highly anticipated Premier League match. The game started off with both teams showing great determination and skill on the field. However, it was Liverpool who struck first with a goal from Sadio Mane in the 8th minute. Fulham fought back valiantly and managed to equalize with a goal from Bobby Decordova-Reid just before halftime.
In the second half, Liverpool came out strong and regained their lead with goals from Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota. Despite their best efforts, Fulham was unable to find the back of the net again, resulting in a final score of 1-3 in favor of Liverpool.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's superb free-kick sent the Merseysiders on their way (32), but Timothy Castagne hauled Marco Silva's side level on the stroke of half-time (45+2).
Manchester City, and while Mikel Arteta's Gunners side moved top with victory over Wolves on Saturday, Liverpool kept up the pace with a dominant second-half display.
Dropped points in a draw at Manchester United and a shock Anfield defeat by Crystal Palace - with a disappointing Europa League exit to Atalanta sandwiched in between - had threatened to derail hopes of further trophies to add to the Carabao Cup they have already collected this season.
Liverpool back up to second in the table, level on points with leaders Arsenal - but behind the Gunners on goal difference - and a point above third-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Despite their best efforts, Fulham could not find a way back into the game as Liverpool held on for a comfortable 3-1 victory. The result solidified Liverpool's position at the top of the table and left Fulham searching for answers as they continue their battle against relegation.
